The Indian pop singer is all set to introduce a classical music instrument “Swarmandir” designed and conceived by him on the 10th of February 2012 at Kamani Auditorium @ 6:30 pm.
The event will be inaugurated by Bharat Ratan Shri Ravi Shankar ji who will also launch the E sitar followed by the performance of Mr. Daler Mehndi , Ustad Sahid Parvez Khan and sitar recitation by Rishab Sharma.
“Swarmandir” a classical music instrument is a combination of Rabab, Tanpura and Swar Mandal – conceived and designed by Daler Mehndi. It has been crafted by the veteran luthiers Sanjay Rikhi Ram who has taken forth this legacy from his grandfather late Pt. Rikhi Ram.
Rikhi Ram and Sons celebrate 83 years of Master Luthiers at the event titled “ Vadya Jhankar”.
